I started my career as a banker at Bank of America, and it didn't take long to see the problem. Good businesses with real potential were getting turned down or told to wait — not because they weren't creditworthy, but because the system wasn't built for them. I knew there had to be a better way.

I left banking and spent the next nine years working as a broker at a fintech lending company, learning the alternative lending landscape inside and out — which lenders move fast, who says yes to which situations, and how to get deals done that banks would never touch. After over a decade in the industry, I started Northwood Capital Group to do it on my own terms: honest advice, the right lender for every client, and no runaround.
